Congratulations to our People's Choice winner, Royal Youth Dance Ensemble, Inc. (RYDE), who received $612 to support their RYDE Community Glow Pop-Up Series!

The voting was incredibly close, which speaks volumes about the quality of all four projects and the important work these organizations are doing. One comment we heard again and again from attendees was, "I wish I had four vote tickets!"

One of the most rewarding parts of the evening was seeing every presenter leave with funding for their project. Each organization is making a meaningful difference in our community, and we're grateful that Knoxville SOUP could play a small role in helping them continue their work.

Congratulations to Little Chefs, Big Change who won the people's vote for our September 2025 SOUP dinner for their After-School Healthy Cooking Program project. They walked away with $911.00 which will support healthy cooking classes for students in South Knoxville after-school programs that serve low-income children and families!

Congratulations to SPARK who won the people's vote at the Spring 2023 SOUP dinner for their Toy Tech project. The take at the door was $692.00. Thanks to Mary Thom Adams' generous spirit, she chose to split the pot between all presenters - making everyone a winner!

Congratulations to South Knoxville Elementary School who won the people's vote for our October 2019 SOUP dinner for their Scientists on the Playground project. They walked away with $828.25.

Congratulations to Maynard Glenn Ballpark who won the people's vote for our August 2019 SOUP dinner for their Parking and Security Lighting project. They walked away with $1,466!

Congratulations to Sleeves4Needs who won the people's vot for our April 2019 SOUP dinner and walked away with $1,050!

Congratulations to East Tennessee Permaculture Research Institute who won the people's vote for our October 2018 SOUP dinner and walked away with $765!

Congratulations to New Hopewell Elementary who won the people's vote for our July 2018 SOUP dinner and walked away with $708.75!

Congratulations to East Tennessee Technology Access Center who won the people's vote for our April 2018 SOUP dinner and walked away with $685!

Congratulations to Dr. Paul L. Kelley Volunteer Academy, who won people's vote for our October SOUP dinner and walked away $610.

Congratulations to South Knoxville Community Center - Better serving a Growing, Older Population and Montgomery Village Residents Association - Back to School Supply Drive, who tied for the people's vote for our July 27th SOUP dinner and split the pot of $814. Each organization walked away with $407!

Congratulations to the winner of our April 2017 SOUP People's Choice, Marble Springs State Historic Site Educational School Tour Project! The attendees gave $830 in support of this project.

Congratulations to SEEED Inc. People in the Garden, who was the winner of the people's vote for our October 6th SOUP dinner and walked away with $513!

Congratulations to The South Knoxville Community Center and Seniors Walking Their Way To Better Health, who was the winner of the people's vote for our July 7th SOUP dinner and walked away with $709!
